Haymarket Square Affair evidence and other materials on the infamous Haymarket Square Affair from the Illinois Historical Society. Joe Hill a PBS site that remembers the early labor movement. How The Other Half Lives a hypertext edition of the classic tale of urban life by Jacob Riis. Illinois Historical Society provides articles on important aspects of American Labor History. IWW 100 Years a site that chronicles the hundred years of the International Workers of the World. The Labor Movement offers songs of the struggle of American Labor including music of the IWW. The 1912 Lawrence Textile Strike offers a document-based project for students in order to understand the struggles of American labor in the first decade of the twentieth century.
