The 2010 Kansas Council for History Education Conference "History, Literacy, and Twenty-First Century Skills: New Directions in K-12 History Education" Derby, Kansas October 24-5, 2010 The conference will be held at the Derby Public Library in conjunction with Derby Public Schools. Registration includes both days of the conference, lunch and an evening reception with entertainment at the Museum of World Treasures in Wichita, KS. Transportation to and from the reception is available for participants. The Hampton Inn in Derby (316-425-7900) will offer a special rate of $95 per night for those attending the conference.
